According to inside sources, Aagadu is set against Anantapur backdrop. Mahesh is likely to deal with faction elements in the film. At the same time, the movie does have good dose of humour and funny punch-liners.

To be shot in single stretch, the movie is expected to be completed by April and will have Summer 2014 release.

Merlapaka Gandhi, who is a son of a famous Telugu novelist Merlapaka Murali, is now making his debut as director with the movie Venkatadri Express starring Sundeep Kishan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The movie, which is high on entertainment quotient, has been produced by Gemini Kiran under the banner of Anandi Art Creations. The film is slated to release in theatres on November 29.

Venkatadri Express is a clean fun-filled family entertainer, which will appeal to all classes of audiences.
