Sachin Tendulkar runs behind Rajinikanth

The 4th Asian Awards Top 100 was launched on April 4th 2014. While southern actor, Superstar Rajinikanth is among the top 100, placed at the 63rd spot, one place ahead of retired Indian batting mastero Sachin Tendulkar, the mozart of Madras, AR Rahman is placed in the 95th spot. The Top 100 is an annual list of the most influential Asians on the planet compiled from our Asian Awards long list each year.

Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, who are also from the entertainment field, are placed in 55th and 62nd spot ahead of the two southern stars. Indian politicians Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh and Rahul Gandhi are in the top 5, placed at 2nd, 4th and 5th spot respectively.

Political problems for Vijay’s Kaththi Movie!

Upcoming Tamil film Kaththi in Thuppakki combo of Ilayathalapathy Vijay and director AR Murugadoss is facing political issues because of one of its producers Lyca Productions owner Subaskaran Allirajah.

It is known that Subaskaran Allirajah is close aide to Srilankan President Rajapakshe, which has hurt Tamilians feelings who requested government to take an action against Kaththi makers. However an official clarification regarding this is awaited from Kaththi makers.

This is not the first time that Vijay’s film is facing a political problem. Kaavalan and Thuppakki were banned from hitting screens on the release day, but Kaththi is facing troubles at the shooting stage itself.

Samantha is playing Vijay’s love interest in Kaththi that will have music scored by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by George C Williams.

Maan Karate is Siva Karthikeyan’s biggest opener till date, which has even beat the opening figures of his earlier superhit film Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam. P. Madan of Escape Artists produced Siva Karthikeyan’s Maan Karate also got 30 % tax exemption from the government.

Thirukumaran directed Maan Karate has entertaining scores from Anirudh that were beautifully captures by cinematographer Sukumar, which is one of the profital start to 2014 summer releases in Kollywood.

Vadacurry Movie Audio Release Date

Vadacurry is the second film of the hit combo of Subramaniapuram, Jai and Swathi Reddy. Dhyanidhi Alagiri is producing the film and planning to launch Vadacurry music on 10th of April.
